Below are answers to some Frequently Asked Questions about Beyond Belief.
How long is the show?
Beyond Belief runs approximately 65 minutes, with a festive reception to follow.
Is the show suitable for kids?
There is nothing vulgar in the show. The show does contain some spoilers about the evolution of Santa, and it might be a bit dense for kids under 7. However, it is above all a celebratory show, and even for young kids, the dull part will soon be over and there will be a party.
How much is admission?
There is a $15 suggested donation, though nobody will be turned away for lack of funds. If you wish to donate more, please do. Children 7 and under are free.
Is the show a benefit for the Park Church Co-op?
Yes. All profits from the show will be shared 50/50 with the Park Church Co-op.
I heard tell of a party…?
Indeed! Stay at the conclusion of the show for a special Holiday reception, with food, drink, and presents for guests!
Who is producing this show?
Beyond Belief is produced by Complicated, Inc. a non-profit, 501(c)3 film and theater organization based in Denmark, ME and Brooklyn, NY. The show is conceived and directed by Jamie Hook.
Is the show religious?
Thank God, no! The show shares some philosophic and theosophic themes with religion, and as a show embracing the nature of belief in an historic Anglo-Saxon idiom, it shares some symbols with Christianity, but the show is decidedly a-religious.
